The club has not only operated for all our members but we have been lucky enough to host 3 great competitions and to host the Disabled Waterski Association as well.
June saw a ‘3 Event Competition’ (Slalom, Jump and Trick Ski) organised by Clive.  (See separate report).
Then in August we hosted the ‘Disabled Waterski Association’ who spent a week at the club.  Later in the month we hosted the ‘Cutting Edge Competition’ – organised and run by the British Waterski and Wakeboard Federation.  This competition (for kids) was an outstanding success with teams and individuals from all over the country.  CWWSC team did well and whilst we did not get a place on the Podium we were definitely the most vocal with all our riders setting off to loud cheers.  Watch this space for next year because the CWWSC kids are fired up and ready for some traincwwsc-uknating.
The event was so good we have decided to pitch for it again for 2017 – we’ll keep you posted.
Finally the ‘Mastercraft UK Boat Wakeboard Nationals’ came to Church Wilne in September.   With the UK’s best wakeboarders  taking part we were treated to a spectacular display of the best wakeboarding possible.  Everyone from sponsors, riders and supporters were really happy with the event and it helped to put the club back on the map as a World Class venue.
As well as all these events the August Bank Holiday not only saw our illustrious Chairman (Richard) tie the knot to our Child Protection Officer (Kate) but it was also the clubs Splash Day .. which…. went off with a Splash.  The competitive streaks came out in force as teams battled it out to take home the medals.  Fun, frolics and plenty of shenanigans – together with the odd shandy – was had by all despite a few hangovers from the night before
